After almost one year of great efforts, half a dozen prototypes, lot of bridle adjustments and hundreds of flight hours, Eolo-Sport is proud to launch “OVER”, our newest high range stunt kite.
“OVER” is a versatile kite that combines both the most radical freestyle and the greatest flight precision, suitable for synchronised team flight or individual.
Its stability, gift for slow tricks -even with a great margin of error for those learning- as well as its capacity to suddenly go on to the most radical freestyle without any kite adjustment must be strongly underlined.
Its 2,37m wingspan, 284gr total weight together with a series of details and materials make the “OVER” a very strong but light kite.
Sail:
The sail is made of 30 gr ICAREX, a high quality fabric that, unlike others, has a brighter, deeper and more contrasted colour -regardless of exposed against or to light. It is also made of ultra-light mylar panels to reinforce wiskers and the central rod.
Bridles:
It is based on a 3 point conventional bridle; though it is also complemented by a series of adjustments that make the bridle turbo, to adapt itself to the many different flight conditions.
A little bridle on the upper part of the kite makes some of the most innovative freestyle tricks –as the crazy copter- easier.
Rods:
- Leading edge: conical rods Dynamic DT15
- Leading edge tips: 6mm carbon
- Upper spreader: 6mm carbon
- Central spreader: conical rods Dynamic DT18
- Central rod: 6mm carbon
- Whiskers: 3mm carbon
The leading edge is a hybrid of conical rods Dynamic DT15 and 6mm carbon for the tips. The last 6mm stretch provides the leading edge with flexibility and will serve as shock absorber for your spikes, so that your kite will not bounce when touching the ground. Thanks to the new system for tightening the sail, this last stretch might be changed for any 6mm rod in less than one minute if necessary.
Central spreader is made of 2 conical rods Dynamic DT18 that, thanks to its great rigidity, make trick performance without folding the wings possible.
Details that make the difference:
Nose: Made of very strong fabric to resist impacts and friction produced while flying your kite. Double dacron inner reinforcement to avoid that the central rod may pierce the nose.
Yo-yo stoppers included
Weight system: 10 gr. total weight set on the central rod with two rubber connectors that allow us to easily adjust it depending on your own flight style.
Central reinforcements: upper and lower reinforcements are made of double dacron (dacron-ICAREX-dacron) to avoid rods to wear sail out.
Hidden wisker connectors: double dacron reinforcements on the trailing edge avoid that fabric wear out and that tensor thread breaks. There is also an additional reinforcement of double dacron, where wisker connectors are attached to, therefore avoiding connectors to stick out the sail and lines getting tangled. |
